ENSEMBLE’S «KHOROSHKI» ORCHESTRA

From the moment of the establishment the ensemble functions accompanied by the orchestra and vocal group. In the orchestra there are classical and modern musical instruments – a clarnet, a flute, a violin, an alto, a bayan, accordions, a bass guitar, a drum set –and ancient – a pipe, hooter, diatonic cymbals, basetlya, pagan “kmeny” (musical instruments from wheat ears, cane stalks wild rosemary), which invariably surprise and admire listeners with sound intensity and timbre beauty.

There are some bright solo programs in the repertoire of the orchestra with which musicians successfully perform in our country and abroad. The historical program «POLOTSK MANUSCRIPT», inspired by ancient music of the Renaissance epoch has special success.

The orchestra can perform independently with versatile concert programs: in one part (45 - 60 minutes) and in 2 parts (1h 30min – 1h 50min). The quantity of musicians and vocalists is from 9 to 18 persons, depending on the program.

The orchestra performs mainly with live sound, if it is necessary the soundtrack "minus" is used. The orchestra has its own sound-amplifying apparatuses.
